Happened upon this music venue hidden in the visitor center courtyard. Such a special NOLA music experience. Most days at 2:00, don't miss it!
Great history museum in the heart of NOLA. I didn't take any pictures inside but it was simple yet rich with content. In 20-30 minutes to get a thorough history of NOLA . It was free admission and there's an experienced ranger on site that can answer any questions.
New Orleans is truly unique, an authentic gem. Never gets old although it is one of the oldest places in America! Stay in the French Quarter or Warehouse District and enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, history and that special New Orleans mystique.
The French Quarter is the heart of New Orleans. Loved the architecture, culture, and food during our visit.
The Sunday we visited NOLA was quite cool, which was GREAT. Walking around downtown NOLA was loads of fun and beautiful & historical architecture and sites.
I am gladto find NPS in New Orleans. Hidden jam in french quarter!
It was a nice way to start our adventures in New Orleans by coming here and learning some of the rich history of New Orleans. Nice place with beautiful courtyard. Great location!
A worthwhile break from the incessant commercialism in the surrounding French quarter. Great interpretive center. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced gift shop. They just need to update the opening hours on Google.
